About

Kim Mills is the owner and lead designer of The Pollen Mill, a bespoke floral design studio based in Northern California. Her affinity for nature began in early childhood where she could be found creating potions and collecting insects. Kim's love for plants lead her to a degree in Environmental Studies and masters degree in Science Education. She has traveled worldwide to study flora and fauna as a forever learner.

Kim approaches floral design with a focus on earthy shapes and textures that create movement within arrangements. Her goal is to create garden-inspired designs for all to enjoy.

The Pollen Mill specialties include custom floral design for occasions such as weddings, corporate events, and charity functions. In addition, they design for business displays, photography staging, art installation, as well as editorial shoots.

Kim believes inclusiveness, equality, and diversity are to be celebrated. She is honored to work with all families and couples.

Kim loves to travel, garden, read, and paint. She has authored content for online wedding publications as well as state and local newspapers.
